  pitch**Problem**: About 300 million unbanked/underbanked populations in Africa lack access to basic formal banking services due to low bank penetration, high cost of deploying branch and ATM infrastructure in these communities and lack of financial education. **Context**: The communties are typically rural/semi-urban where there is no banking service infrastructure so they either travel long distance to bank or save cash informally in their homes or through expensive informal local savings schemes, which are risky due to burglary and borrow at exorbitant rates from money lenders. The project will engender economic freedom by catalyzing savings through personal accounts in banks to provide access to micro lending and investments, electronic payment process and government social benefits. **Solution**:Branchless banking system facilitated by Biometric Point-of-Sale terminals deployed through remote retail Agents located ubiquitiously and enables performance of basic financial services such as cash deposits, withdrawals, micro-lending, transaction payments, account activation/balance checking and printing of statement with the use of Bank Cards. Across Africa, it has capacity to mobilize over B in savings annually catalyzing lending and investments up to B, generate about 1M in employment and improve development planning.
