2012 MIT IDEAS Global Challenge Awards Celebration
Join the MIT IDEAS Global Challenge and our special guest speaker Joi Ito, Director of the MIT Media Lab, for a celebration of the spirit of innovation, entrepreneurship, and public service. This year, over 60 teams are working with communities around the world on challenges such as waste treatment; access to clean water, healthcare, education, and transportation; disaster relief; and much more.
On Thursday, May 3, meet the teams entered this year and celebrate with us as we announce the teams that will be awarded up to $10,000 to make their ideas a reality. This is where ideas come to life!
The celebration will entail:
6:00pm - Mix and Mingle with Teams
7:00pm - Awards Ceremony
8:30pm - Special Toast to Teams
