2012 AWARDS CELEBRATION

Congratulations 2012 MIT IDEAS Global Challenge Teams. Since October you have worked hard to develop your proposals, prototypes, and pitches. On Thursday, May 3 it all comes together!

In 2012, the IDEAS Global Challenge will award up to $70,000 in implementation grants - up to $10,000 per team - to teams with projects that demonstrate the greatest innovation, feasibility, and potential for impact. We'll also award 3 $1500 Community Choice Vote Awards.

To meet the teams and ideas in this year’s competitions, please join us at 6:30pm on the first floor of MIT's Stata Center. The awards celebration will begin at 7:00pm EDT in MIT's Stata Center, 32-123. We are honored to be joined this year by Joi Ito, Director of MIT Media Lab, and numerous friends of invention as publice service - at MIT and around the world.
