It’s here! The 2013 Community Choice Vote is open for ten days from April 19 through April 29 at midnight, EDT. For the next ten days, you have three votes to place on the ideas of your choice.
We see the MIT IDEAS Global Challenge as a launch point for future ventures and sustainable impact, all over the world. This is your chance to get to know the teams that are developing and implementing innovative ideas alongside communities around the world. Get to know them!
Last year, over 5,000 people in over 40 countries voted their choice of teams that would win the Community Choice Vote.
This year, each person that registers will have three votes. The top three teams will receive $1500 to further their work.

Since 2001 we have awarded more than $400,000 to over 74 teams that have implemented innovative service projects in 28 countries, serving the needs of tens of thousands of people. These teams have secured over $3.2 million in follow-on funding for their community projects and more than half remain active in some way.
